“We remember, remember, and misremember.”
In the digital expanse of p5.js, Tucson's warmth is both captured and transformed. Pixels, those minuscule sentinels of memory, are coaxed to shift, emulating the elusive sands of time in the desert wind. With each line of code, randomness is ushered in as an painter, gently urging hues to wander from their origins. Red, green, blue, and alpha — once fixed in place — now pulsate with an algorithmic pulse, mirroring the ebb and flow of recollection. The canvas morphs into a dynamic mosaic, where sharp contours of the past soften into a nostalgic blur. Executing the script becomes an act of remembrance, crafting a living portrait of Arizona, reshaped by the passage of time and the sentiment behind the code.
