FINAL PROJECT PROGRESS

Week 10 - 11/09/2022
Game Testings on Arduino
Thanks to my partner, a few tests for two individual games were run on the breadboard. The outcomes were great, and we think this can be our first prototype. The sliders and buttons are working, we will refine the code next and make them more customized for the games we designed for this project — as we discussed in week 09, they need to be just right for the games. This week we will be working on the joysticks and keypad. Below are some testings for the sliders and buttons.

Bill of Materials
We have been thinking about materials since last week — as we discussed, the quality of the materials is one of the most important factors in this project. We will most likely be using:
metal for the knobs, buttons, switch
a customized keypad with 12 keys, Cherry MX Red switches, and PBT keycaps
The colors of the metal parts are still being discussed. They will either be bronze or black. But before that, we need to look into the wood.
Here is the bill of the materials, as well as the vendor info, website, etc. The final price will be lower than what shows in the row of ‘total’ as some of the items are duplicates.
